If the Console I/O value is set to Enable when the reboot option for to the MediaRacer®

100 unit is selected, initialization messages are displayed on the screen showing the status

of the procedure (Fig 4-7).

On completion of the initia lization process, the prompt Station > is displayed, indicating

that the MediaRacer® 100 unit is ready for operation. Verify that the FLT LED is not lit.

If Console I/O value is set to disable, and you choose to reboot the MediaRacer® 100 unit,

while the computer is still connected, messages will not be displayed on the screen. The

MediaRacer® will be ready for operation only when the FLT LED is not lit.
